The Hudson Community Food Pantry isn’t your typical food pantry location. Our volunteers and staff get to know you and your family, so that we do our best to stock our shelves with ingredients to help you get by for another week.
Please reach out to our staff at hcfp28@gmail.com after filling out an application to let us know if you have any specific needs.
What to Expect at your First Visit
If this is your first time at Hudson Community Food Pantry, we’ve put together some helpful information to help guide you.
We require that all first-time clients register at the front desk and provide a completed application with proof of address. If you have them, please ensure that you have your shopping bags ready. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have provided a ticketing system for your convenience. (Think: ticket number like at the deli counter!) You are welcome to wait in your car until your ticket number is called.
Once your number has been called, you can come into our recently renovated lobby, where a volunteer escort will assist you throughout your shopping experience should you need any help finding items we currently have in stock. We have branded shopping carts for your convenience as your walk around our pantry to gather items needed, and a numbering system dependent on how many people are in your family.
If there is something that you do not see in stock on our shelves, please let a staff member know. Our staff and volunteers want to ensure that you have the best experience possible when visiting the Pantry.

Each year a living sage and “saint,” Amma, would leave her home in India to visit the greater Boston area to inspire folks to their highest calling. Her simple moto is to “love and serve.”
That’s what the community of people express right here at the Hudson Community Food Pantry, while providing a necessity of life itself… food and sustenance. We have teammates who pick up and deliver food to the pantry, facilitate donations from local growers and markets, and greet the many new residents of Hudson who come from far and wide to become a member of our thriving town.
Our little “cottage” of a storefront showcases love in action, offering a friendly embrace as we assist with canned goods, pasta, snacks, soups, condiments, meat/fish/chicken, personal care products, baked goods, eggs/milk/butter and, importantly, fresh life-enhancing produce with our colorful array of fruits and vegetables.
You can usually find me tending and arranging the fresh fruits and vegetables, something that seems so natural to me. My grandfather was an immigrant from Italy and provided for his family and neighbors with fresh fruits and vegetables at his market in Faneuil Hall in Boston and later in Waltham. It seems the mission continues as I bring forward his Spirit of love and services.
I look forward to greeting you.
