If you need additional support, the Food Pantry is here for you in your time of need.
We offer a unique shopping experience with a variety of food, canned goods, and more.
We encourage our clients to select options that are needed and best for your lifestyle.
The Hudson Community Food Pantry isn’t your typical food pantry location. Our volunteers and staff get to know you and your family, so that we do our best to stock our shelves with ingredients to help you get by for another week.

What to Expect at your First Visit
If this is your first time at Hudson Community Food Pantry, we’ve put together some helpful information to help guide you.
We require that all first-time clients register at the front desk and provide a completed application with proof of address. If you have them, please ensure that you have your shopping bags ready. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have provided a ticketing system for your convenience. (Think: ticket number like at the deli counter!) You are welcome to wait in your car until your ticket number is called.
Once your number has been called, you can come into our recently renovated lobby, where a volunteer escort will assist you throughout your shopping experience should you need any help finding items we currently have in stock. We have branded shopping carts for your convenience as your walk around our pantry to gather items needed, and a numbering system dependent on how many people are in your family.
If there is something that you do not see in stock on our shelves, please let a staff member know. Our staff and volunteers want to ensure that you have the best experience possible when visiting the Pantry.
Backpack Buddies: Keeping Kids Fed
Is your family struggling to put food on the table? The Hudson Community Food Pantry’s Backpack Buddies program can help! We provide free, nutritious food to kids in Hudson, Berlin, and Bolton, so they can enjoy delicious and easy-to-prepare meals on weekends and holidays. The Hudson Food Pantry is committed to ensuring our community’s children have access to food on weekends and over the holidays when they don’t have access to school meals.
How it Works:
- Who can join: Kids in grades K-12 who live in Hudson, Berlin, or Bolton and attend public school.
- Easy enrollment: Simply fill out a Backpack Buddies enrollment form, available from your child’s school nurse or counselor. One form covers your whole family!
- Discreet delivery: Food kits are filled with yummy, non-perishable goodies and delivered right to your child’s school. High school students can choose to pick up their kits or have them delivered home.
We’re here to support our community and make sure every child has access to healthy food. Let’s work together to make a difference!
